Yes...I definitely have to block myself from getting attached to Birds I have no clue what sex they are or to breeding stock that has to go...It really would. Then I wouldn’t have to get attached to them

Aside from being harder to crack and get through the membrane duck eggs are just a bit creamer than chicken eggs and delicious. Also when baking with them, they tend to increase the volume of the batter. But head to head taste test show's no difference. Turkey eggs are even tougher to crack but way bigger and taste great!I made bacon and eggs yesterday and cooked one Duck egg too. I fed the Duck egg to my husband and he couldn't tell the difference..
I'm not sure if I can try one though...![]()
Only time will tell..I'm thinking I might hold back one Duckling from this new hatch so Clover can be grown out with it..I hope not![]()
I know everyone says they are good but I'm weirded out trying them..I know I'm ridiculous..Aside from being harder to crack and get through the membrane duck eggs are just a bit creamer than chicken eggs and delicious. Start by trying one hard boiled, but make sure to chill it really well once it comes out of the pan. if the egg doesn't draw back away from the membrane it is almost impossible to peel clean.I know everyone says they are good but I'm weirded out trying them..I know I'm ridiculous..![]()
