Oh I see..Yes, feeding them definitely would be a concern.I don't yet. I've got a customer who wants me to grow him some. No point if I can't feed them properly.

When I got my ducks, the Co-op was still making my Non-GMO feed for me. They won't buy the grains anymore. The Amish are a two hour drive from here and I'm told they have a good starter, but need to talk with them to find out. And since they are Amish, the only way to talk with them is face to face.
You know, some times I'm really slow... It's a hazard of getting old.As I was typing the above it dawned on me... Even if the Amish don't have the proper mix, they do have a good broiler and there's an organic mill down the road from them that has all the supplies I need to modify a broiler into a good duck/turkey starter and I do have a mixer. I can't afford their starter at $30/bag.
I'm gonna take Friday off and make the road trip. All I need to modify their broiler into a starter is fish or crab meal and a fresh bag of Fertrell Nutri-Balancer. Thank you Kayla for providing the right nudge.
Oh..
I thank my lucky stars that me and my birds aren’t as picky as you.But I hope all goes well!
