Hi I was thinking about adding call ducks to my flock of my welsh harlequins and saxony ducks. But first I have a couple of questions that I am hoping someone can answer. so.....here goes!
How far or how much do they fly?
Are they very loud? I heard that they are very loud but I don't know if that's true :hmm ?
Are they friendly to people and other ducks?
Do you have to clip their wings? We tried it on are chickens but it didn't work. I don't know how to do that any more I forgot

They can fly very well; much like a wild duck.

Mine have their loud MOMENTS but are actually quite quiet and secretive. They are very active, always looking for bugs to eat.

They are friendly and get underfoot, but they do not like being held.
I don't have other duck breeds, Calls are not aggressive so I'd guess they would get along with other ducks. Mine get along with my bantams and turkeys.

I have clipped mine. I won't again as it puts them in danger with predators. No, they do not have to be clipped.

personality depends on the individual duck. everyone says khaki campbell are skittish, but mine definitely are not. if you spend time with them and treat them as a cat/dog, they will love to be cuddles and go on adventures. my boy gets super excited when he see’s his harness.
