Call ducks?

I currently have a khaki campbell drake and a pekin hen. Both are super friendly and never bother our chickens, who are much smaller than them. I am realllly interested in getting a couple of call ducks... But I'm new to this and have some questions.
Will a khaki campbell drake be a danger to a female call duck? Will they readily cross breed?
How successful are call ducks at egg-laying / hatching?
What are your favorite types of call ducks?
