Here are some pictures of a friend’s quail. I am new to colors and wanted to make a call, but we don’t agree. These originated from Southwest Gamebirds variety options.

I believe the golden is a calico or manchurian, and I think the white is the new calico fee line that they released.

Pretty creatures -- I am afraid that I am relatively new to color morphs, and the names for button quail don't always transfer well to coturnix, and vice versus. "Fee" seems to be another name for barred, smokey, or grizzle?

Pearl hen(fawn (Italian) + fee), and Italian male. A calico will be a wild pattern bird, often with a white chest even in males, and the lines down the back of the bird will be elliptical instead of straight. With the exception of the wild pattern bird behind the pearl bird in the second photo, all birds pictured are Italian.
