Calling all duck owners ...need answers

I purchesed these they said they are 7 week old pekins. Why are they browning ?????

If its like our feed store they also say they only sell pekins, khakis and mallards.
But Yours look like pure buff orpingtons.
Was it from a feed store / hatchery?
Because hatcheries sell pure breeds only

And most feed stores get there ducklings from hatcheries. They just get multiple different breeds and usually dont get a list of what breeds they have.
So unless they are from a local person selling mixed ducklings yours are probably a pure breed

@ducks4us they are from a well known farm...i stopped inyo buy flowers and bought these little ones instead....i wonder if I can find out theres only two things im worried about them being fatty enough to make in through winter with the proper care and fat enough not to fly away.....

ok they must have ordered from a hatchery. since they first told you pekin, then said pekin and khakis were what they had. maybe call and ask where there ducklings came from?
buffs cant fly and do fine in winter. so do pekins and khakis. although i have heard some khakis can fly ..
i have never seen a khaki pekin mix. but i had a buff orp last year, he was a large pretty duck!
