Calling All Grouse Owners!

For those of you who have grouse, show me photos, descriptions, and do as much as you can so I can know all about your grouse, as well as keeping grouse as pets; I want to know a lot about grouse. Thanks!

Note: Although I have quails, I don't own any grouse, but pet grouse would be cool!

Grouse are very rare in captivity as they're very difficult t keep. I have looked into it though and a few have successfully bred them. Would be interesting to see if anyone here has them

We have them all around here. We live in the south central Montana in the mountains. one time this grouse showed up at our house and stayed for weeks, it would follow me around when I was out working in the yard... I'm pretty sure they are not too smart... I love all the wild life we have.

I live in south central Montana too! I run into a flock of grouse nearly every time I go in the back field. Because of that I think it would be easier to domesticate them, just fence them in....

Where do you live? We live 15 miles south of Big Timber...

Oh ok. We live near bozeman. Cool to know there's other Montanans on here maybe we could do some swaps sometime since we live so close.
