They look so nice and cute. All female? They're finall here. Here's a pic of them wth the New Hampshires. The breeder said they are almost two weeks old now. Two of the Koekoeks are almost the same size as the New Hampshires, but the rest are quite a bit smaller. I will post better pictures tomorrow. I'll also keep you posted on how big they get compared to the New Hampshires, just as a size reference.
Thanks. I don't know yet. I thought it was too soon to tell, but I was just reading that with barred rocks you can see earlier sometimes because the males have more white. So if they are like barred rocks, I'd guess I have at least two males. I'm going to try to post individual pics of them tomorrow in a breed and gender thread and see if I can get some better guesses from others. They look so nice and cute. All female?
I read on the wiki page of koekoeks that they have distinct marks when they are chicks and can easily be sexed.
Can't wait to see more pics
Haha thanks for the pics. They are beautiful! Take good care of them! Raising them from such a young age will be rewarding. They grow very fast
Their feet look very orange. Mine aren't that orangr. In fact the one with the crest doesn't have orange feet at all. Do all koekoeks have orange feet?
