One pip that I can see and I heard a chick peeping in the shell.......nothing more for some time now.....is this normal?

Humidity is 65-68 is that OK?

Patience chic mom! Go to bed early and I bet you wake up to many hatchlings!

Peeping is a good sign and in may be many hours before anything much happens. My March hatch it was 20 hrs between the first egg pipping and the actual hatch. What day are you on?

My Blue Rocks started hatching today!! One day early even after a power outage 3-4 days ago. I'm so happy they made it through that.

One big pip & back to bed she went. I took the hygrometer out real quick & set it by the bator & its reading 60% in my barnominium. Guess I should be good for the rest of the hatch. I can't leave it in the bator its to big.

This is the link to our photos of our Brinsea ECO 20 hatch on March 17th. We had 22 Buff orpingtons out of 24 eggs.
One was clear and the second one was half baked. We think 22 out of 24 is marvelous!

Well, I've got one Olive Egger chick out. It hatched yesterday around 8pm, on St. Patrick's Day, so I've named it Patty O'Malley.....Nothing else.....Hope to see more activity after work......(Today is the offical hatch day at 8pm.)
