Here is my entry..... Brinsea Octagon 20 ECO - A Silkie chick wide awake and just chilling inside it's shell. Must be comfortable

Man, what kind of cameras are ya'll using to get such good pictures through the lid??? I barely got a couple half way decent pics!!

Wow you guys were busy today since I last checked on here 7:00 a.m. Congrats on the hatches. I've jumped over to Brinsea and verified your pics. The only facebook posting I didn't see from today's hatches was for hallerlake. I'll check back tomorrow and see if it's there.

I just gave my 13 day old chicks some dried bread and they loved it!

lockdown has started

now the waiting begins!

this is the part that is sooooo hard. i have 9 EE eggs that made it to lockdown of those i saw movement in 8 not too sure about the 9th egg had a little trouble seeing it in well enough.

has a link to the April hatch along been posted yet? i have eggs coming next week so will be able to join that thread

Here are the pictures from our hatch on March 12th. We had great results with our Brinsea Octagon 20 and the brooder is such a great solution to the need to keep chicks warm and not have the worry of the heat lamp. It's so much more efficient and puts heat right where it's needed.

We had 20 eggs go in to lockdown and hatched 17 healthy chicks - 12 welsummers and 5 black javas.

good morning - just found this thread - 6 of 6 eggs all hatched on March 9th <<LOVE this little incubator

100% hatch of Splash Bantam Cochins
eggs had been thrown out and new paper towel put down at this point, they are drying at this point
