There was a Brinsea Octagon 20 Advance EX, used twice, for sale on eBay ending today. I was all prepared to snipe it, and put in a bid of $387.87 thinking that was crazy high and I'd get it for sure for around $350. I figured that I'd save a little over a new one. Well, it went for $405.00 plus $12.00 shipping!!!!

A brand new one from the Brinsea site is $399.99 plus $30 shipping. That's only $13 more than the used one. Now, if Brinsea offers its 10% off coupon tomorrow like I'm PRAYING they will, that means a brand new one will only be $389.10. That is $27.90 less than the used one, and you're getting a BRAND NEW incubator WITH WARRANTY!!

Do people not do their homework before they buy things?? I was hoping I would get a bargain, but it look like my "bargain" will be buying directly from Brinsea!!
