Caught mid-crow. This is our tamest free-ranging rooster. He often follows people around.

Wow! What a beautiful boy!! Mine is very protective of the free roaming hens he stays with. He and our black maran hen had some eggs that just hatched. I will definitely post some pictures of them and my sumatra rooster.

Sumatra Lover, do you keep Sumatras? I don't, but absolutely love the breed!!!! They look like crows.

Yes!! I have a pair and just hatched some babies! Sumatras are wonderful chickens. My sumatra hen is the most friendly hen I have. She lets you pick her up and pet her and she won't get upset at all. She also sounds like a crow! her feathers are black but she also has different shimmers of colors in the black color. Our sumatra rooster is a splash(black and blue). He is absolutely wonderful. We now have their peeps in the same coop as they are in and they do well with each other and our other critters in the coop(male turkey, guineas, and the other chickens).

No problem!! and yes, they very much so sound like crows if you lived close to me I'd be more than happy to sell you some of their babies!! I believe I have a rooster and a hen right now, they are still a little young to tell.
