I can’t compete with purple bug eaters, but I sure wish I could talk them into living here... but I don’t have the open space due to all our trees...

I can’t recall the variety name now, but the nice lady at the Sedalia Menards garden center recommended this climbing rose ( from their bin of cheap roses)

Nasturtiums ...btw if folks like radishes they’ll like nasturtiums... the leaves and flowers are edible and make a nice garnish

I like the white rose of Sharon. Mine are all purple.
I had elephant ears for a couple years. . and canna lilies. But got tired of digging them up every year to save them and they eventually froze or rotted.
 

Me too! Orange being my favorite color I’m already impressed, and it’s only 10” tall.

It’s gonna be awkward, next time I’m in Sedalia and give that garden center lady a big kiss for telling me to buy that one :eek:
