calling any one from missouri

nope! She’s already shed half a cat on me... so she’ll have to be a porch cat.

she’s gonna bunk in the garage for now until she decides this is home ( she was already re-homed to someone else once ... and trekked 6 miles back to my sisters house)... I’ll probably make her a cat door into the garage so she can murder mice outdoors as she pleases and rest in the garage between bouts of meyhem
Sounds like a solid plan.
I'd kick mine out if I hadn't had his front claws removed.

I don’t blame him, lol

I like his stripes but one cat is more cats than I’m comfortable with... but my no cats policy was recently voted out, lol

We have two cats but I am seriously considering implementing a no BLACK cats policy, after DD's cat just "gifted" me with a ginormous LIVE, unharmed mole and did I mention it was HUGE and also enormous???? I did manage, with DD's help, to get it scooped up onto a paper plate under a plastic bowl (both of which went in the trash afterward) and dumped the critter out into the forest. Stupid cat. She is supposed to remove rodents FROM the house, not bring them in. And the first person to tell me moles are not rodents is going to get a :smack.

if our new cat murders a few moles that’s fine too... not sure about taking moles as POWs though... your cat might be a bit too civilized to be on rodent patrol 😉

I’m gonna start training this one to pounce on armored-dillers as soon as she’s gone through orientation and is ready for action, lol

Would suit me fine if she'd dispatch the things outside. I think she brings them inside as gifts for the dog, who at that moment was nowhere to be seen. Sigh, my own fault. The first time she brought a rodent in, not quite dead, and it got away from her, I sicced the dog on it, yelling, GET THE RAT! because it was the first thing that came to mind... the dog grabbed it (probably a mouse) to rescue me, ran outside with it, and, er, took care of it. Now I think the cat thinks this is what she is SUPPOSED to do with vermin. 🙄 Fortunately it does not happen often.

I need a squirrel killing cat.
Power is out for the second time this week. :barnie
Somewhere there is a fried squirrel no doubt.

terrorist squirrels trying to take out the power grid is a real problem... if one of them ever gets a hold of a smart phone and learns a little bit about modern power delivery systems and substation design we’re all pretty much screwed 😉

You ain't a kiddin! 😂
Mason had three up the tree for me the other day.
We got two of them devil rats.
It got too dark for me to see good nuff to get the third.
Mason was severely disappointed in me.

We have a border collie Jack Russell cross female who has worn her front teeth down tearing out sod so she can hunt down voles and moles in our pastures. She is sure death on them so we try to give her free rein. On occasions she will catch a mole which is very impressive because I discovered that Missouri grows moles big enough to climb the Empire State Building and swat at planes that fly by. I mean these things are HUGE!

I was born in IL and my husband and I adopted Missouri 11 years ago. We love it here but I tell ya, Illinois moles are dwarfs compared to the ones here. Field mice too!
