How do you offer the chick grit?
I just sprinkle some on a surface. I have various little pieces of wood, log slices and stuff I call 'chicken furniture.' I sprinkle it on those.
Right now, I have yet to put much 'furniture' in, they are only a couple days old, so far they have a stick and a block of wood. Here's a few pics from the past. Some are cutouts left over from DH's wood turning projects. The pieces of wood get dirty and will end up as firewood, and so I'm always coming up with new ones. Also chicks love branches. Anything they can climb on....just look around.I need to make some 'chick furniture' would love to see a photo of what you have for inspiration.
