We've had 2" rain since yesterday. Plants in garden are in standing water....

It finally stopped raining and the sun came out!
I went out to the coop, and Moonshine's final egg had hatched. 7 chicks! Now I have 15 chicks....yikes!

Grateful for a break in the rain. Chicks enjoying it too! Some of them are looking pretty homely right now as feathers grow in.

I always thought it was pee-own-ee.
Do gooseberries grow wild in Missouri? I think I have see those thorns and leaves on some plants in our woods. I don’t know if they ever got to the berry stage.
maybe I’ll quit pulling them up!!

That's what I thought too....especially when the spot something interesting and run toward it!
