how many babies?Big news here today was ...it was my lovely wife’s birthday... I tried to be polite and not remind her, but her brother and my mom had already texted her before 8am and so the cat was out of the bag....
But I didn’t get back up to the house until 9:30 ish and found her and the cat on the porch... one of them was acting ‘off’ and the other was sipping coffee and remarking about the ‘offness’....
so I scrambled for a cardboard box and some old towels and the cat broke apart into kittens in that box on the porch, literally within ten minutes of me putting it down (we’ve had a ‘nest box set up in the garage for two weeks’)
so kittens on Mrs. OhZark’s birthday was pretty special!... even if momma cat won’t let us see the littles yet
Do I see blue eyes on that red dog?
Our older dog,Mazie, is feeling anxious about her place in the household with the new pups. It makes her behave in annoying ways because she wants to be in the middle of everything. Reminds me of kids when a new sibling is born. Poor thingdoesn’t realize she isn’t helping her own cause.
But, she’s not going anywhere. The puppies weren’t intended to replace her, they are supplemental!
Yep! They were/are very blue. My husband thinks they have gotten lighter in color but I don’t agree. One of the other puppies had 1 blue eye and 1 brown eye. All of the blue eyed puppies had the lighter fur color. None of the black puppies had blue eyes. Not all of the lighter puppies had blue eyes. Genetics are so cool.Do I see blue eyes on that red dog?
