Today’s jelly making. Grape. 3 more pints were still in the water bath.

Yesterday’s jelly making. Blackberry. I still have more blackberry to make. I found another gallon bag of wild blackberries in the freezer and I have juice for 1 batch in the refrigerator. Also a bag of blackberry and grape juice mixed for 1 batch.
Then I found a grocery bag of San Marzano tomatoes in the freezer. Plus there are still several bags of whole frozen peaches that I had to freeze before we left to go out of state for a wedding.
Fortunately I just found a store that has half pint jars because I’m completely out of them and almost out of pint jars as well.

I was squatting by the deer bowl cutting up an apple for him and chatting with him and I looked up and he was 5' from me! Of course when I stood up he backed off a bit. I need to put a stool out by the bowl and see what he does if I'm a few feet from him. He sure is looking so much better than last winter.

You have Paso Finos too! and Ducks! We have a 24 acre farm and 2 of our 7 horses are Paso Finos. We also have 10 Ebony Penciled Indian Runner Ducks and 7 Call Ducks. We're not near you though. We're up in St. Charles County.

Yes, he has been tick free for quite some time now. He's gained weight and his back legs no longer touch at the knees.
