Trying to decide if I want to put a couple of those red heat lamps in the coops tonight the temperature is forecast to be 21°F. Everyday I see poor Sweet Pea without much of a comb from last year when she got frostbite.

I need to go to the store today but I sure don’t want to get into that whole Black Friday shopping mess. So I’m putting it off until later in the day in the hopes that it won’t be so crazy!

Our Walmart in Lamar wasn’t crowded from 9-10 am. I think the Lamartians do their Black Friday shopping in Joplin.....

In the past I have found Lamar the best place to go for Black Friday Walmart shopping.
You must be right I think they all go to Joplin. I'd rather just shop online.

So the Amish are still hunting across the road..I don’t know a lot about hunting seasons, but it may be that youth can hunt deer this weekend. Here’s their very cool covered pony wagon
