I'm a big fan of the area you are in, we have family reunions in the smokey mountains, always have to go to dollywood. First time I saw a black bear in the wild was over that way.

Finially got all my starts i brought with me from the house in the ground yesterday.

Sue.. we still haven't planted the little willow.
We have a bunch of trees to plant now.. J stopped at Pinewood nursery and bought some friday.

I worked out there for the christmas season like... 20 years ago making wreaths. It was such a good time I'll never forget it.
The lady that owns the place remembered me when J told her i wanted some trees from there and she made him a deal and threw in some mums for me when he told her we were making our first flower bed at the new place

What an awesome thing to be remembered fondly 20 years later.

We also put in a ton of easter lily, hyacinth and tulip bulbs for spring. if they all come up it will be spectacular.
Skipped buying irisis for now. I know plenty folks i can get starts of those from.
I wanted some crocus bulbs but lowes didn't have those.

Me too. The house i grew up in had a GIGANTIC one in the yard. It had to be 100 years old. We called it the magic bean tree.
Sadly it had to be cut down, it had a big rotton spot in the middle.
And that was the summer we had to get an air conditioner. Felt like we were burning alive in that house once that shade was gone.

Just saw this post by Hilltop Swap regarding new USDA rules for caged critters. Pretty strict! @shawluvsbirds , I guess that will do away with those onion sacks, ha! I wonder if the swaps will enforce it, because they reposted from an auction site. I guess it doesn’t apply to people carrying the birds by their feet…

Hmmmm.
That just about outlaws most every cage i see at those places.
I don't see how they can enforce all that.
Especially the one about "must not be able to stick their heads out."
Most foldable type kennels don't have small wire.
