Good news- The weather forecast now says it will be in the 60s by Friday and Saturday for Jacob's Cave.

Miss Chicken Little- according to a website I found, they are rated as poor egg layers, usually only 1 a week. These are definitely not birds you get for the eggs, its for their beauty, I can tell you that the birds are very calm and gentle. I have lots of good egg layers so now I am focusing on birds that are unique. If it matters, they are from great breeding stock and would likely have babies with blue legs

Teddi- I was thinking I could focus on the looking more if I just put my birds on Craigs list instead.

I plan to wear my "Have you hugged your chicken today" red t-shirt when I go

I have read all your post about Jacobs Cave, and I am not understanding what is is and where it is? Sounds like fun and I start my vacation next weekend!!

Anyone from around our neck of the woods? We raise polish crested, silkies, bantams, 2 turkeys, few ducks, coturnix quail, rabbits, 2 dogs, a boa, oh and 2 lil monkeys! lol and hatching out everyday.

costs 5 bucks to get in whether buying or selling. bring walking shoes, and if you have stuff to sell someone to watch it while you "shop".
