Buffs are hatching as we speak. 18 so far and 83 to go! We can meet whenever you want now that they are out of the shell and fluffed up. I will get pictures later on! WOO HOOO!!!

Update on the lakefront property. The lake is getting bigger and bigger. Just from this AM to now. WOW what a difference.

If you look closely towards the top right hand side of this picture you can see the idiot in the 4wd trying to make it across, he went like 20 ' in and decided that was not a very smart idea!

Yeah, it's been a mess. Tornados tore up Novinger and the North part of Kirksville.. My lake overflowed to the spillway- probably leaving many dead fish in my field

I'll let you know what day I'm going to Kville next week, Fudgie.. we'll see IF we can get together.

Honestly, I am straight south of you which is closer than going to Kirksville, we can meet in the middle somewhere if you don't want to go to Kirksville! whatever works! Iget off work at 4:30 so I can always run home grab chicks and head your way and it will still be light! According to Mapquest it says an hour and 38 min from me to you! But I can get to Kirksville in an hour so I am thinking maybe 45 min from me to you in reality!

Fudgie -

The lake is beautiful! LOL! I just hope that all this water runs south soon. We got about 2 inches and am just very grateful that we missed the actual storms. I hope all of you that had damage are doing okay and if there is anything that I can do, just let me know.

Sometimes we don't realize how lucky we are until we see others in a bad place. I AM thankful!

Sheila
