LOL of course you knew! OHHH I have an order for you too. If you are coming down. I wrote it down but will have to ask again because I don't know where I put it. It was for your cochin babies and such. From Sara from the auction. I think she said February to start hatching so they would hatch by March. I will check quantities and type for you and let you know.

Merry Christmas to you too!

where is keytesville?

I'm just outside Springfield. I have a couple of Barred Rocks and I just put my first 3 Cornish Xs in the freezer yesterday! I'm very excited for eggs this spring, my birds are only a few months old now.

I purchased my first batch of chicks from Estes Hatchery here in Springfield. Has anyone else used them or Cackle in Lebanon?

I'm just north of Springfield, between Buffalo and Bolivar. It's about 45 minutes to Lebanon (Cackle Hatchery) and I've bought a few there. My Black Spanish Tom turkey came from there and he's really nice. I've got a few chicks at a time, not a whole lot but they were all healthy. I think they buy hatching eggs from breeders so their chicks are only as good as the breeders stock. I am thinking that some hatcheries have their own stock but I could be wrong
