She doesn't need help! LOL

Nice to "meet" you.
i need more pens.
I like to free range my girls but we have had too many predators so we can only let them wander when we are outside to watch.
I tried to stick to one or two breed. I just couldn't. Too many pretty birds out there.
Thanks, glad to get in a circle where things like this can be discussed, it can be hard to convey MO weather if people do not experience it.

These go into the incubator tomorrow!
Beautiful eggs. Are they from your birds?
I set over 80 eggs. All but 2 were Black Penedesenca. Eggs not as dark as yours but quite dark and one of the things I'm selecting for. Hope to get the flock to that point in a year or two.
22 have hatched so far and more on the way.
I'm concerned because we're supposed to get some hellacious weather starting this afternoon and into tomorrow.
Fingers crossed electricity holds.

Y'all brace yourselves, looks like an interesting weather night for the western half of the state. Be safe!

I'm envious of those eggs! Where did they come from? I've got cuckoo marans and think thier milk chocolate eggs are pretty but those are DARK chocolate - blkcopper marans didn't you say? GORGEOUS! And the blue? My americuna type EE's give me green eggs but I'm hoping to get some blue eggers out of this generation. Got eggs set from both the CCMs and EEs and then going to switch the roos hope for some olive eggers to hatch before turning them all out to free range till next spring.
