Yes sir, I had Coon attack when I had a family emergency and didn't get home in time to shut my coop door and lost all my chickens but 3. My mom always lets hers free range and had a fox get one and the other one hasn't laid an egg in over six months. I just got me an automatic coop door so hopefully if a situation ever comes up again I will not have any more issues.
