I have hatched to sets already this season and awaiting my next batch of eggs early next week from MissP and Siz8003. I'm sooooo egggcited.

My last batch was from Florida and totally unexpected. The box looking like it was set on the ground and played kick ball with it. 3 eggs were smashed, ooze running out of the box. It was a sad sad mess. I did get 2 eggs to hatch.

Meet Chowder and Chunky

Chowder and Chunky are adorable!! Your signature cracks me up because I have been screaming for goats too and my hubby and son won't give in!

We are busy making plans to build a new coop this spring. We have hatched a few chicks, a goose and a duck and have some duck eggs in the bator now.

Fudgie, I never dreamed I would enjoy that silly goose (Nester) as much as I have. He is spoiled rotten, loves to ride in the car and look out the window and pretty much does what he wants! The duck (Norman) that hatched a few days later follows him everywhere! So, we have human, goose, duck lined up everywhere we try to walk somewhere! My question, how old will he be before we find out if he is really a he or he is a she? lol

I'm close to my goat dream. We have built the enclosure and 2 days ago I purchased a 5x8 shed off of craigslist for $100 so I'm getting there. The closer I get the more nervous I get about it and my abilities about being a good goat momma.

We are also in the process of building a new home for my silkies and frizzles. Right now they are seperated in their own pen with a xxl doghouse for a home so after my next hatch I'm gonna incubate some of them so test fertility.

I would have no idea how to raise a goat and we would have to build a place for it, so I guess I will have to wait a little longer to get one. Our neighbors have some, so I can go play with them. Good luck with yours, I am sure you will be a very good goat momma!
