Crazy4cochins Where are you located in Lone Jack. I am originally from Columbus Missouri east of Lone Jack. Know where the Million dollar fantasy ranch is. My mom lives just west and south of there just a bit.

Here ya go either way...

Sedalia show is at the Missouri State Fairgrounds poultry building. Check in Friday evening and show starts bright and early Saturday. They have a bird swap there too if the other one gets rained out.

Saturday from 10-1 I think is the swap. At the vet clinic south of town across from Sutherlands I think.

The make your own incubator contest on BYC. If you win you get a 20$ gift certifcate. I want to enter but I need to look and see when they are dong it next. I almost have all my supplies,need a quick trip to Home Depot and Walmart and I will be set. Need some frizzle and silkie eggs to go in there.
Anyways Is the M $ fantasy ranch further down 50 like towards
Warrensburg? I have seen it but alas I am one who suffers
geographically challanged syndrome.lol.
I can't tell direction at all. Maps are my friend.
Is the swap this weekend or every Weekend?
I have been to sedalia before, for a pow wow .
Do you guys have any baby chicks right now,I have 28 ahhh.
Mostly RIR's 2 black turkens and 2 sml cochin mixes.

The sedalia Small Animal Swap at Young's vet clinic (across from Sutherland's and next to the sale barn) is 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

$10 to sell per car and $5 to look.

The 2nd BYC bator contest is going on now. I would have loved to enter, but I am on dial up and so it takes me years to upload pictures.

I ran it last night and the temps are only off about a degree from top to bottom. This is the secondbator like this i made and the first one with a hand turner. The first model worked well but have a larger temp difference from top to bottom. I found with the design of the shelves that I didn't have enough room for circulation.

Thanks to all who danced with me..............It's really great to have a chicken dancing partner!

Tha swap a Young's vet clinic is once a month. Usually the second Saturday of each month, but they moved this one because of Easter Weekend.

I have about every chicken imaginable, except bantams. Just like the bigger guys and gals. And I do share your love of Cochins, I have Partridge, Blue, Black, Splash and am hatching some Lemon Blues now!
