On our drive near Iantha early this morning, we saw a herd of 6-7 deer, a big snapping turtle, a coyote leaping thru a wheat field, a skunk crossing the road, and an otter! It was standing on the side of the road looking at us. I googled otters in MO when we got back, and yes, we have river otters here. We had never seen one.

...that sounds like a fun drive, seeing all the wildlife!

Looks like it will go a tad to the north of us I hope... ground is so saturated can't get anything done dirt wise. I did manage to burn a bunch of dead branches in an area I'm trying to clean up enough to mow with the rider.

We have so much rain and humidity everything gets moldy....this is my 'weather Mary' that turns blue in dry weather. She's been pink a very very long time. There was a purplish day but no blue for weeks.

Looks like we are in for another round of thunder storms starting tonight and possibly ending on Monday.

Calling for high 80s up here and the humidity is really high too. At least its not raining today. Creeks are finally going back down.
