There is/was a region in southeast mo that says y’uns but I’m not sure where it starts and ends ... might be a generational thing though... I don’t hear it much any more...

Recon that's why my anti rain dance ain't a workin for y'all and youins the way I mean fer it to? I must not be chantin the right slang for ol mother nature to understand

The thing about ma nature is , she thinks mercy is overrated... she makes those cute little baby cotton tail bunnies and then puts a black snake in the grass to catch and eat them ... ma nature doesn’t favor one over the other...

... and the same goes for us... it don’t make no never mind to her if you say y’all or you guys, or y’uns.. she’s gonna rain just the same...

... but that Elaine dance can’t be helping...

I traveled half the state in the last two days ...I’m up this late because I’m still wound up... but I’ve had some time to think while driving...

...and it occurred to me that maybe someone else should be be in charge of the rain dancing for a while till we dry out a bit...

I nominate @jthornton I think his newly webbed feet might be what we need...

I’m thinking both regional and generational though... I only ever heard it in that corner of the state...

I still like hearing some of the old stuff... the whole world is getting so homogenized that it’s getting hard to find

I do take some time to enjoy the scenery though... the Show-me state was looking handsome and green on this trip.... with elderberry stealing the show this time ....with the white blooms making the air smell so sweet and summery
