It’s a flat out down pour here right now...

My bees were finally really hauling in the pollen the last few days ....after all the rains we’ve had this year... so I was excited for them...

but I guess they’ll get the day off tomorrow now that pollen will be washed away

Any suggestions on how to get rid of hornets in my son's attic? The nest is about the size of a grapefruit. They don't have the resources (money) to call a professional to come get rid of them. I suggested a bug bomb placed on a ladder under the attic door opening.

Not sure on the bug bombs, but those can sometimes drive bugs and spiders down into the house...

I’d think if you go up at night with any of the foaming, kills on contact spray stuff that shoots 20’ and spray the nest it’ll take care of them...

Just be aware that a lot of that stuff kills the nest ‘on contact’ ... there’s only a couple that actually knocks the flying bugs out of the air... it typically costs a bit more and has a different ( nastier) ingredient ... but if you’re spraying the nest after dark any should work

Closest thing I could find in the book...

...so I extrapolated a bit based on things my granny used to say.... and the way I got it figured you ain’t gonna get rich from a wasp sting... but you’ll likely pick up a silver coin on a parking lot within a week
