I checked my green beans today thinking that I was going to pull the up, but instead I walked away with a half pound of green beans! There may be more but it was too dark to see and I have no idea what happened to the good flashlight I use all the time.
Well, that's not exactly true. I think I left it on the back of my car last night and then drove off this morning and it fell off somewhere.

I hate it when that happens. I usually find all kinds of treasures like that when we ride our bikes. We call it 'road kill'.

usually it's one shoe that we see.....yesterday, crossing a road in town, there was one glove.

We drove to Joplin today. There are red leaves on the maples down there. Maybe Carthage will have red leaves for their Maple Leaf Festival next weekend, in recent years they have been green... They have a big parade on Sat 19th. It lasts a LONG time.

Yes, definitely the same kind of spider. I looked around for others here and didn't see any. I left Fred's web in place as a Halloween decoration.

Hey man. Spiders are dangerous. My dad got side swiped and ran off the road on a hill by a kid a couple years ago . . the kid claimed there was a spider on him.

Altho we leave non-venemous spiders alone, we definitely are concerned about venomous ones. We had a friend w brown recluse bite who had recurring bouts of tissue destruction. Supposedly the bites are painless, so you might not even notice when it happens.
