mullein makes pretty good toilet paper. And the plants are good sized now. Big soft leaves.
We have maybe 50 Mullein plants on the whole place and it will likely bolt before our TP supplies run out. We have lots of Red Maple trees. There will be no use of Sycamore leaves on my watch, might as well be nettles.

Got more done on on the she shed to coop conversion...

Remember back when, Missouri officials said they expected to be able to do widespread testing by April?
It sounds like DHSS has to approve each request for testing. Forms must be submitted for each individual, then wait for approval. Then wait for results. It seems to me that if mild symptoms don't meet the criteria, we are going to see community spread that could be prevented with the promised widespread testing.

Following the link from that page it looks like it takes a phone call or two.

"
Before collecting and shipping specimens for Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) testing, please call the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services at 877-435-8411 for approval. Note that before any specimen is sent for testing, DHSS staff must first be consulted!

After consultation and determination that the patient meets the criteria for testing, contact the Missouri State Public Health Laboratory (MSPHL) at 573/751-3334 or 800/392-0272 if you have questions regarding collection and shipping prior to collecting the specimens. This will help ensure that proper specimens are obtained in the right quantity, and that they are packed and transported properly."

A study recently done in Iceland shows that fully half of the people who test positive for COVID 19 are totally asymptomatic. These individuals can spread the disease and no one, least of all themselves, have any idea they are infected.
