I can't believe I'm saying this but I can't wait to mow again. Lol.

I need pontoons to mow the north west part of the flat. For some reason there is one section that stays wet now for a long time after a rain dunno what changed over the years except me digging in the hill to find the flat part.

Because it's our birthday and we are 4 weeks old today. I finally had an excuse to work on the exhaust of the car today too wet to work outside.

Not much left of the brooder, been removing it bit by bit so no big change. This has worked much better than last time stuffing them in a carrier and moving to a new location was so dramatic lol.

Yay, it's a beautiful day in the Ozarks! So glad for sunshine!!!!
Clara(our youngest) trying, with very little success and even less patience, to teach individual chickens to come to their name she's given them. So I'm hearing, "Cheerios, Cheeeerioooos. Uuuuuugh!........Disco, Discooooooo, DISCO! ARRRRG!!!.........Sylvia, Syl-vi-A. Grrrrrr!"

A few of my hens know their name as I call them for special treats. Monique is the fastest chicken in the yard when I call her name, she will run and flap her wings at top speed to make sure she get her treat. She is also pretty clever, when I feed her a big piece of chick weed through the fence she acts like a running back and ducks under the rest an runs out into the yard.
