Volume ( I think?) 1/4 cup to a 1/4 cup or 1 Tablespoon to 1 Tablespoon. My friend told me that she feeds it however much the recipe is going to have her use, so if it calls for a 1/2 cup of starter she would feed it 1/2 cup flour and 1/2 cup water.Thanks for the tip on the oven light, our house is 68°F during the day and 60°F at night.
Do you use 1 to 1 by weight or volume?
