I convinced George the cat to leave the oriole feeder in the backyard alone, and within 5 minutes he’d caught this little guy in the front yard.
I rescued it and it flew away after a bit.

It has worked before. I chose this spot because Ollie the Adventure Cat doesn’t seem to be able to get up there, or at least not without a big disturbance. Also because I can see it from the kitchen window.
Look again! That’s $5.73! Gas was so cheap when this pump was retired, that there isn’t even a tens place left of the decimal.....$57 for half an orange!
