I want you to know not a single one of the Easter lilies bloomed this year. What's up with that?
Those few Iris are the only blooms I got. Luckily they waited till all the storms were done..but this wind will probably blow off their heads.

Well there is a couple of measly blooms on this elm bush thingie.
It's usually loaded with blooms by now. Maybe those iris and lilies are choking it out.

I'll tell ya what is thriving around here and that's the ants.
Ant invasion everywhere.
Opened a window yesterday and ants were in the windowsill by the thousands.
They have taken over my mailbox.
Any rock or flower pot you turn over outside has ants under it.
I have bait out but it doesn't ever work like it used to
They must be getting immune to it.
I hate to spray because of the ducks and other small critters.
But I think I'm gonna have to.

This is the first of these we’ve grown. The red one we bought last year from a local Audubon Society native plant sale, but it didn’t bloom last year. The other one was from a packet of wildflower seeds we put in a planter last year.

Your flowers are some variety of buttercups, mine is a wild indigo that comes up near the mailbox every year
