They bury a container like this one up to the rim then fill the bottom 2 inches with cardboard, topped by 1 pound of red wrigglers and then an inch or 2 of salad scraps. Cover it all up with burlap, cardboard or a board and every week or so add another inch or 2 of salad scraps. They said the worms in this set up can take care of a 10 ft by 10 ft area of your garden. They don’t use any fertilizer or pesticides.

I also liked their small raised bed set up.

We went to Echo Bluff State Park for lunch yesterday and while we were gone 10 tomato plants put out blooms!

We got back from our vacation last night. I checked on the garden this morning.

The yellow flowers are from the book choy, it bolted. I’m guessing the book choy is not good anymore I’ve never grown it before so I don’t know.
Some of the radishes were ready to be pulled
My artichoke arrive in the mail. I didn’t know they came from tubers! I had started some from seeds. 1 is still hanging in there. Now I’m going to plant the tubers and see how they do
