Yum, everything goes better with butter.

Speaking of… we grew these mushrooms from a kit… and had them last night sautéed in a little butter and then over spinach and pasta

Ignore the box, I tossed the one it came in before I realized I was supposed to keep it 🥴

They bury a container like this one up to the rim then fill the bottom 2 inches with cardboard, topped by 1 pound of red wrigglers and then an inch or 2 of salad scraps. Cover it all up with burlap, cardboard or a board and every week or so add another inch or 2 of salad scraps. They said the worms in this set up can take care of a 10 ft by 10 ft area of your garden. They don’t use any fertilizer or pesticides.

I also liked their small raised bed set up.

We got back from our vacation last night. I checked on the garden this morning.

The yellow flowers are from the book choy, it bolted. 😞 I’m guessing the book choy is not good anymore 🤷‍♀️ I’ve never grown it before so I don’t know.
Some of the radishes were ready to be pulled 😁
My artichoke arrive in the mail. I didn’t know they came from tubers! I had started some from seeds. 1 is still hanging in there. Now I’m going to plant the tubers and see how they do
