Pineapple Whip is out of Springfield. I believe they have 3 ‘locations’ there for their mobile stands. Then they set up at big events, including the state fair, so for them to come over to our neck of the woods is a big deal. Probably Dole Whip is a copycat recipe, I’ve seen something else similar. The original whip is non dairy, and mostly sugar. Kind of like soft serve sorbet, I guess that’s what it is. They say they’ve been around since 1974.

Idk and probably don't want to know how much sugar it is ..I just know there is nothing else like it.

I put the first dent in my grandpa's brand new pickup truck hauling that eagle home for him.
We were going through Carthage...where some of the stop lights are on the side of the street instead of overhead. I didn't notice one and about ran a red light..Grandpa hollered BRAKES!
and BAM. That thang went rolling and smacked the front of the bed. I felt so bad.
Grandpa laughed and laughed.
He said oh well that's what a pickup bed is for.

That man had the patience of Job I swear.

Ok it's officially summer... I almost stepped on a snake. I told the snake duck people are more fun so move on to the west.

I wonder if there is any Ozark folklore about almost stepping on a snake?
