The hens don't want to come out of the coops lol, Lucy slept directly under the heat lamp last night and didn't get up on a roost. They eventually come out each morning but it's funny when it's not cold they fly out the door when it opens up.

I never fly out the door i am not a morning person.
However...these 20 degree mornings make me not want to get out from under my heated blanket.
I don't blame the hens.

I got a few sides to make this morning for the feast. I cannot wait until I can grow my own turkey for Christmas and Thanksgiving. Long term goals.

We threw a smoker up yesterday out of long poles and cedar branches, smoked the turkey for 8 hours and it came out pretty perfect
