A massive flock of blackbirds stopped by. We took the dogs out and encouraged them to move on…when they bank and turn, you can see their red wings…my pictures can’t capture the immensity of this flock!

Might have to do this. My neighbor is feeding the songbirds (transplants from west coast ) and I frequently and shooing them away.

• Welsumer
• Cream legbar
• Olive egger
• Orpington
• Appenzeller Spitzhauben
• Wyandotte
• Marans
• Speckled Sussex
• Silkies
• Bantam Cochin
• Easter Eggers
• Japanese Bantam

Never had a problem with any of them.

In the summer they need plenty of shade.

I've had salmon faverolles, orpingtons, australorps, bantam cochins, American gamefowl, light brahma, and mixes of the above and they have all done very well down here I the sw corner
