We're not getting much up here in St. Charles County, just enough to make muddy pawprints from the dogs everywhere LOL

Lol. I am so thankful our whole main floor is rolled vinyl! And I keep a towel tucked in to one of our couches so it hangs down over the front; when the dogs (Shelties) come in, they rub themselves dry on it. I'm not lazy, I'm efficient. I still haven't figured out what to do about the WeatherCat who comes in soaking wet to give frequent weather reports, though. She wants to rub on ME.

Our cats are weather cats too… they love to get toweled off.
This morning I checked the rain gauge—6/10” over 24 hours. So we didn’t get what they were forecasting.

My son works for UPS out in Oregon. He works in the damaged package department. There are often spilled liquids (some hazardous) from one that damage a whole bunch of them. He gets overtime a lot.
Anyway, the packages in that truck probably went to someone like him to sort out….
