I bought a new bag of feed, not noticing it was pellets instead of crumbles. Race Bros in Carthage now carries Kalmbach feeds, and my chickens have really been liking it for a couple of months now. It smells so good! Anyway, they don’t seem to mind the pellets, they are finishing it up just the same!
They are even eating what was spilled.

Orscheln’s has a big ongoing sale because of Tractor Supply coming in. I’ve gotten a lot of half-off items, fencing, chicken waterers etc. I always wanted these waterers, now I have 2!

Everything must go. Now the sign says 70% off. I think I’ll go see what’s left…

Most Orschein stores are now Bomgaars, the rest are TS. Bomgarrs is not as aggressive in rebranding so you can hardly tell they own the store now.

In NW Mo the Orscheln stores are all Tractor Supply. Their feed prices are outrageous. Thankfully we have a local feed mill in Chillicothe

I live almost exactly halfway between two Orscheln's, 28 miles either direction....one being taken over by TS, and the other is Bomgaars. I won't give TS my business.
