So step #A was to give the two CQ's access to the fence between the two areas so they can get nose to nose. They have only been 3' from the fence for quite a few months so both flocks look at each other all day long.

Yes, I cobbled up some plastic fence so when I open the door to the run on Coop Deux part way they can come up to the fence or go back into their run (where the food and water is). Both Victoria and Spaetzle were chicken to come out. Finally Spaetzle decided to eat most of the treats on the bucket just inside the new area. Might take a while but with the cold temperatures at night it's the only plan I can come up with. Back in the summer I just moved a few into cages under the canopy in the Coop Uno yard.

So how’s the plan proceeding?

We got a little snow yesterday that didn’t stick. But Tues they are predicting up to 6” for our area.
Yesterday we went to Pittsburg KS on errands and dental appointment. Stopped in the Paradise flea Mall and saw this

Yes, it’s a Spitzhauben rooster! No I didn’t buy it, just took a photo…
After all, I’ve got a real one…

Slowly... I just fenced an area so I can open gates and let the two CQ's actually come into the big chicken yard but it's too wet to keep the 5 on that side out of the canopy today.

Spaetzle was brave and came into the canopy area this evening. Making progress.

We ran errands and went to our chiropractor in Mt. Vernon today. This is new
