Shelby Road? Is that the one I call Flat Tire Road? It's so bumpy it sounds like you've got a flat? Obviously built by the lowest bidder.I haven't ridding my bike since October when I got a huge job building a control system for Empire Comfort, it's been work or weather stopping me from riding and I can't wait to at least ride the road bike up and down Shelby Road some.

Yup, from PB Regional down to the bottom of the hill it's pretty rough. The sidewalk is much smoother and the joints line up... must have been another contractor that built the sidewalk. If you catch a green light at Oak Grove Road you will get some air crossing it.Shelby Road? Is that the one I call Flat Tire Road? It's so bumpy it sounds like you've got a flat? Yes, I've caught air there once or twice, lol. Quite an experience in an SUV and I wasn't even going that fast!Yup, from PB Regional down to the bottom of the hill it's pretty rough. 10 inches, mercy! I'm always stocked up on everything, pretty much. Milk might be the only thing ... but we have shelf-stable almond milk so even that would not be a problem. Goodness, am I a survivalist? Nah, only very short-term.Now they say we're getting 10" snow Tuesday! We went shopping and stocked up on everything we could think of.
I've had hens hatch chicks in cold weather before. Not minus 12 and not silkies. I think it got near zero and they were LF Penedesencas. When it go to the teens, I put a heat lamp over the water and feed station so the chicks could eat and drink in relative comfort and could get under the hen otherwise. But when it got to near zero, I decided to bring the chicks inside.Going to be bitterly cold this week. High of 6, low of -12 on Wednesday. Of course I have a broody with new chicks. My silkies are crazy.
