Animals! There's so much more going on there than we realize. I had a Golden retriever that knew his grandpuppies! I taught an obedience class and someone brought in a basket of puppies. Even though there were other, unrelated Goldens in the class, Rigby uncharacteristically broke from a Down-stay and ran to greet these puppies like the proud grandpa he was! And they went nuts for him, too!

We are supposed to be getting up to 10 inches of snow tomorrow followed by another 1 to 2 inches the next day. However, some weather apps have been lowering the totals, so we will see what we end up with.

My forecast says up to and inch today and maybe another inch tonight. Then 3-6 inches Tuesday thru Wednesday.

I had about 2 inches overnight and still coming down lightly.
I also had frozen pipes this morning.
Luckily I caught it before any damage.
My great nephew was helping me work in the basement yesterday and one of us didn't get the door closed tightly and it blew open overnight allowing the incoming water pipes and tankless heater just 10 feet away to freeze.
Everything is flowing freely now.
I don't know what it got down to overnight but it is still only 5F now.

I dread if the tankless heater ever freezes. It is always off when no water is flowing and a burst pipe inside would require replacing the whole thing.

I guess they can't keep the equiptment going at the trailer makin place when it is this cold.

Been snowing here in Ellsinore (30 mi east west of Poplar Bluff) for about an hour. (Started about 1 pm I'm guessing.) They closed the bank DH works at before that and sent everyone home. We are in the 10-12" snow forecast area between now and Thursday. It's 20° here now and going to be single digits for days, with wind chills below zero. Hunkered down!
