Thanks, Karen, you too! I picked up a Rx for my Sammy dog for Gabapentin, hoping it helps him weather the storm, so to speak. He's terrified by them, poor guy. If it doesn't help enough I'll give him a Benadryl too. Any other suggestions? Trazadone makes him incontinent so I know I can't give him that, especially since he wants on my lap when he's scared.

What else is everyone doing ahead of the storms?

Power has been out since around 1am. Tree down on my fence. Plants almost all leaning and disheveled. It was a night. More coming around noon

The Radar looks as if it's not going to be bad here. But the hound didn't want to get out of his kennel this morning so the Dogar says something might happen.

Sammy, my Weather Dog, jumped up in the middle of me this morning and dumped my cup of hot drink and made a big mess. I gave him a Gabapentin cheese ball and he has calmed down and is, in fact, snoring gently at my feet.
