New to the group. Live in Harrisonville. My 11 y/o daughter talked me into getting chickens in February. We have a mixed bag of layers who are doing great. She is now joint 4H and wants to show a silkie. I found out that show birds are an entirely different game than just raising chickens. We are looking for a show silkie for her and I’m wanting a golden laced Wyandotte just because. We are going to the Gardner, KS auction next weekend, but I don’t have high hopes for her silkie. May be able to find mine though. Anyway, hope I can learn some things from you all.
