calling any one from missouri

Yes, now I am caught! I was the one that brought the kitchen sink to auction off. But not to look so silly, Fudgie was the one that bought it, LOL!

Really they have everything there, but like all auctions you may or may not want it.

Chickenshagg - so nice to meet you and I hope the babies grow quickly for you. I don't have any pics of our giants right now, will have to search the camera for them.

Got to get to bed have an early morning going tomorrow!

Sheila

Does any of you missourians know anything about the auction @ koshkonong ? Someone told me they sold poultry and rabbits there on saturdays.I live about 1.5 hrs away from there thought I might drive and check it out .Thanks

HI! I'm about 35 mins from "Kosh" you are talking about jim scotts goat and poultry sale... As they say there... If it's legal BRING IT! they WILL sell it. I've been meaning to go and see if I can find a houdan rooster and cabnit incubator for myself. They have pretty much everything equipment, rabbits, birds of anykind, goats into the 500s, cavles, bottle calves, miniature horses,Pigs of anykind, small animals, donkeys, mini mules, mini cattle you name it. The sale is every first saturday of the month and its fairly large. (Today is the sale) I've heard you can find ANY kind of bird there or at the cotter MO auction. I've been going to the poplar bluff sale barn grounds to that flea market/poultry swap and I took a bunch of birds yesterday and did well I emptied my cages! got some A & Ms from someone else and two new buttons from Uglyduckling on here and seen someone else from BYC but they didn't know me anyway I had a ton of fun with ugly duckling and had one escapee from ducklings birds and I caught it! I go to swaps around west plains all the way to poplar bluff all the time and really enjoy doing it.

Thanks for the repley!I went to kosh today(just got home)and it was a blast I dont know how many birds they sold, but it was a bunch. I bought 6 Austrolorp hens for 5.50 each I thought that was a good price but what really amazed me was bantys there was a BUNCH of them and they sold high I seen a trio of golden seabrights sell for 16.00 each but they were fine looking birds.Well thanks again hope to see you sometime at one of these auctions Oh yeah I also bought a black/white floppy eared rabbit for my little girls 5th birthday and now I have to keep it hide until the 13th.lol

We raised 3 boys so when our first grandbaby was born (a baby girl) I felt I was in heaven. I just wish they weren't 1200 miles away so I could spoil her properly. If she's like her Grammy (*me*) then she will be asking for a pony, a chicken, a duck and a bunny as soon as she's learned to talk

They live on the Navy base at Patuxent, Maryland right now so they can't have any type of farm animals but I am already looking into a stable where she can learn to ride when she's old enough.......she's not 2 yet though so it will be a little while.
Our youngest son is the only one really interested in the farm. He's currently still in college, working on his agriculture degree.
