I am in Palmyra, MO. (Just north of Hannibal.) My grandparents live in Keytesville so I think it would be a good chance to go visit and pick up some rabbits! Thanks for the info!

WOW you are close to me then. Well closer than some!!! I am in Marceline! Hope to see you there. it was bustling with rabbits last sale and they were going pretty cheap. there were just a few chickens and a bucket calf.
Usually there are sheep and goats and chickens galore and bunnies galore. It was pretty slim last sale but you can always call and see what they have planned on coming.​

Maybe I'll see ya there! I'm trying to talk my husband into going with me. I've never been to a sale before so I'm not sure what to expect! Plus, he's the one that used to raise rabbits and knows what to look for. I'd probably come home with some poor homely things and catch all heck!!

Just keep in mind this is the first year he has done sales all winter long. SOOO you don't know what to expect at those. I think last year he started with the Feburary sale so they could sell hatching eggs and such. The April, may, june july, aug, sept sales are AWESOME!!!!​

OOOHHH And they have Amish baked goods(local family) most generally! Pies for $7.00 each not bad and they are yumalicious!!! Cookies too and candies!

Are any of you guys planning on heading over to the big animal auction in Yates Center, Kansas this weekend?
