ugh oh yeah. I can't walk out of my house without sinking down 2-3 inches...and today was COLD! I want spring to be here. But I hear that it is supposed to get warmer by the end of the week. But it doesn't look like we are going to get our potatoes planted on St Patty's day...way too muddy to get in there to even try to disc and plow the garden! So tired of the rain.

weather is crap, looking forward to the weekend.

Question: does anyone know where to buy Russian Comfrey at? You can grow it as chicken food, have to harvest it a day early. Anyway it is like a shrub, classified as an herb. I found a place on line, but I didnt know if there were any local sources.

Thanks,
Marlene

Ok for those of you who have been following my hatch, here is an update.

When the power went out, I had set 8 eggs the week before that I won on a BYC auction. 3 of those were definately fertile and were due to hatch this weekend. I just checked them and only 1 has a live embryo the other 2 died at some point. I could definately see veins and movement in this egg so I hope it hatches this Sunday!

I also had 3 eggs that were due to hatch this past Sunday but they too died at some point.

I feel very lucky to have gotten what I have gotten. The power had been off for 3-4 hours and the temp had reached 74 degrees in the bator before I got it into town and got it plugged in!

I won another auction on here and those 14 eggs went into the bator last Wednesday. I definately have 9 fertile eggs of these, 3 are questionable. These eggs didn't have to go through the storm so I hope these 9 will make it all the way to hatch.
